What Causes Small Hard Lump On Bicep Causing Tenderness And Light Bruising?

I just started to do a little research about a lump that is small, hard, round in shape, approximately .5 in diameter and roughly 5 1/2 above my elbow embedded in the side of my bicep. It doesn t seem to move and there is only a slight amount of tenderness when lightly brushing against the skin covering it. I ve found in my short time reading, prior to stumbling on to this site, that it may be a lipoma or sarcoma. My question is what are the causes, seriousness, procedure in diagnosing and treating of both lipoma and sarcoma, as well as are there any other possible diagnoses it could be? Lipoma is bening deposition of fatty tissue palpable in subcutaneous tissue,ocassionally symptomatic which requires surgical excision or for cosmetic reasons otherwise the growth is harmless however numerous factors are responsible for lipomas in which mild raise in triglyceride content is on the top and measures like exercise reduction in alcohol intake reduce intake of saturated fats etc should be taken.Sarcoma is a tumor malignant for sure of bony origin and presents in much severe form and needs to be diagnosed with biopsy of the tissue moreover your history doesnt point to the sarcoma it can be a bening cyst and for lipoma an ultrasonography is sufficient to rule out other conditions.
