What Causes Small Hair Like Particles In Stool?

Hi so I just went to the bathroom and in my stool I saw small little white hairs? I have dogs with white fur but I don t know if it s that or pinworms or something of the like? I come in contact with kids a lot, but I don t know, this has been happening for awhile, or even just now and then (not every time) I ll find this is my stool.

Hi,
I understand your concern.
The small hair like particles in your stools are thread worms.
You have to get your stools checked for confirmation. The thread worms can be managed by taking anti worm preparation like Mebendazol .. a single dose preparation / Tab piprazine citrate 1 pill three times a day for 10 days at a stretch.
As you are in contact with children cure of the condition is important for your own health as well as children contacting the infestation.
Food hygiene ( while making/ serving should be with strict cleanliness.. as the rout of spread is through contaminate food/ water ( Fecooral rout )
