What Causes Slight Left-sided Pressure Behind Head?

I feel slight pressure in the back of my head on the left side, which is about an inch and a half passed my ear moving toward the back area of the head. I also felt pressure earlier from around my temporal area on the left side of my head. Earlier when I coughed I could feel pressure/pain in the back of my head?

Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to a sinus infection or an inner ear infection. Do you have loss of hearing in that ear or a little noise? Tension type headache can not be excluded either. I recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
