What Causes Slight Indentation And Pain On Right Side Of Rib?
It seems that one of my ribs is slightly indented on my right side. The weirdest thing is that I had a physical today and my doctor pressed on the area but didn t mention it. I didn t say anything to him and only realized that it looked indented a little later in the day. It definitely hurts when I press on it, or when I stretch a little bit from side to side. There have been no specific incidents that I can think of that would have caused any damage. My overall back feels like I should go to a chiropractor as well if that might have anything to do with it.

If you are experiencing any indentation in the ribs, you need to consult your physician and bring it into the notice of your physician.
A clinical assessment and relevant investigations like X-ray chest is required to know the status of ribs and surrounding structures.
If there is any kind of indentation of the ribs, the cause for it has to be found out and hence management has to be planned.
