What Causes Skipping Heart Beats And Bleeding From Nose?

Hi I am 18 years old, 5'5, and 138lbs. I've had my appendix removed when I was about 6yrs old but that is about it. I've been having skipped heart beats and I also noticed that I am getting nosebleeds more than ever. this has been going on for about 5-6 months already. what does this mean?

Hi welcome to HCM,
Skipped beats in your case could be benign largely.A baseline EKG with a 24 hr Holter ECG can help to both quantify and qualify these ectopics.Antianxiety measures with reduction in the intake of coffee.Nose bleeds in your case warrant further work in the form of complete endoscopic examination of your nasal cavity.Cauterization of the culprit vessel can lead to arrest of bleeding.Coexistent deviated nasal septum if any should be surgically corrected.Consult your doctor for further queries.
