What Causes Skin Tags Around Vaginal Opening?

I just noticed these things in my vagina opening, they are like little tiny pieces of skin hanging out , but they look like little sticks that are like an inch long. They just appeared but they don t hurt or anything, I can t even feel it when I pinch them. I m scared though because I m not sure what they are.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, greetings! Thanks for the query. Skin tags are just overgrowths of skin at areas where there is lot of friction/skin surfaces rubbing against each other. It would help me a lot if you gave me an account of your sexual history. Skin tags are harmless unless they pain or get inflamed. If you wish to get them removed, you can go to a local gynaecologist who might just remove them by simple excision or by freezing them.
