what started out as a severe irritation on the skin of my right index finger, first section after my knuckle, became a very infected and badley swollen area. although the swelling has subsided and a great deal of puss has been drained , now there is a hole in my skin about an 1/8th inch across that goes very deep. I assume i was bitten by somthing and am wondering what to do next.
