Hi,

While working out, you may lift weights or do other rigorous exercises which can put a lot of stress on your shoulder muscles, tendons and joints thereby leading to pain and inflammation. You will have to rest your shoulder for some days before you start working out again or take an over the counter pain medication. In order to not get hurt again while exercising you need to follow certain precautions like a pre-workout warm up. You need to choose the workout regime properly and listen to your body like holding off the procedure as soon as you feel discomfort. Stay hydrated. Plan to start with light slow exercises and then gradually increase the intensity.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
