What Causes Shortness Of Breath With Visible Vein On The Hand?

Hi Doctor, I am 40 year old male. I have been having shortness of breath over the past few weeks. Sometimes its really bad and I have to Gasp for breath. I don t drink, I don t smoke, i exercise regularly, my BMI is perfect (Height 176cm/Weight 74kg). Just a few minutes ago my Vein in my right hand started visibly throbbing. What could be causing all this?

Hi,

The visible veins are not a big concern as it's common for healthy people.

However, the shortness of breath needs proper assessment. It may be relate to lung or heart diseases or sometimes anxiety.

But it needs urgent evaluation. So you should talk to your doctor for proper assessment.
