What Causes Shortness Of Breath Upon Exertion?

HI I have had shortness of breath on exertion, particularly when lying flat on my stomach to paddle while surfing. Sitting up relieves the issue. Had a chest xray which states right hemidiaphragm elevation. cardiomediastinal silhouette within normal limits of size , mild calcified plaque in the aorta, left lung well expanded and clear consolidation , Right costophrenic sulcus blunting and pulmonary vasculature within normal limits no edema and bony thorax intact. I believe the elevation of the right hemidiaphragm is something to be of concern.

Hi,

The X-ray is quite normal. Nothing much to worry about X-ray result.

If symptoms persist, better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
