I have been scared because after I stand for a long period I start to feel tightness in my shoulders , neck , dizzy nauseated and then I feel I need to sit before I pass out. I am getting ready to be reffered to nurologist. I am having shortness of breath now and pain down both arms. I am so concerned. Brenda

Hi,

The stenosis in your spine can cause the pain and tightness in your neck and arms, however, it is unlikely to produce dizziness and faints.

I would suggest you should check your BP on sitting and standing if there is more then 10 differences we need to look into that as well.

You should discuss with your neurologist if things can be explained with it, otherwise, you should see a cardiologist about it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
