What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Dizziness?

Good afternoon I am worried cause I see my cardiologists at least twice a year. and I have been telling him that sometimes I feel shortness of breath and feel dizzy and sometimes I feel the tightness on my chest. I have taken several stress test, hearth sonogram, CT scans plus other tests to check my arteries on my neck and heart. His response its that I am fine. I have seen a internal medicine Doctor he says that I need see a Cardiologists and I have also seen Allergy Doctor.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The symptoms what you are experiencing could be due to low hemoglobin content in blood causing anaemia, provided that your cardiac system is normal. Kindly get a complete hemogram along with peripheral blood smear done. If it so indicates anaemia, all you need is iron and protein supplementation. Kindly take iron with folic acid medication after food. Also, take protein supplements twice daily, which available in the form of powder, and needs to be mixed with milk. Also, take iron and protein rich foods. Gradually, you should be able to overcome that symptoms and get better.
