hi. 32/F BMI 22. in the past week, i have experienced sudden onset isolated systolic stage 1 hypertension. my average resting HR is in the mid 70 s. Today, HR is in the low 80 s. it has been as high as 84 (last month). I started checking my BP when I noticed that I was reaching 165 on an easy walk. this morning, there was a period of about an hour where my resting HR was above 100. i had shortness of breath, tremors, uneasiness. i can see my pulse in my neck. i ve been getting cramps in my abdomen and feel light headed. in combination with the sudden blood pressure concerns, I m a bit worried. if I go to the ER, will there be anything that they can do? or will they just send me to see my primary care doctor (who will send me off to someone else).
