General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Ask a doctor services.
I have read your query & can understand your concern.

It looks like your son is having side effects and the body system is reacting to Ibuprofen. It is good to know that the treating PCP has already stopped the medication, it will be good to get your son physically examined & get a total general health check up done to rule out any developing or congenital pathology in the lungs, heart or stomach.

Take care
Regards,
Dr Nupur K
