What Causes Shortness Of Breath After Taking Atenolol For Migraines?

I was prescribed 12.5 mg of atenolol for migraines. I took my first pill yesterday evening, but was sweaty shortly after taking it. The sweaty-ness went away after a few minutes but I have been short of breath all day today. I tried to get a hold of my prescribing doctor but wasn t able to do so before they closed this evening. I am not planning on taking another pill, but just want to make sure I don t need to be weaned off even though I only took one 12.5 mg dose.

HI
Well come to HCM
Look migraine is functional disease more or less, and this can be well managed without the medicines some time and for that you need to control your self, emotional stress can aggravate this and this need to be avoided, try some exercise, have enough of sleep, be positive, just relax, every thing would be fine, hope this information helps, take care.
