What Causes Short Term Memory Loss After Aneurysm Clipping?

Hi my name is Teresa six months ago I had 4 anurism clips put in my brain. I also had a stroke. I had several phisical therophy Occupational therapy and speech therapy. I m still having issues with short term memory loss I get confused alot my eyes go blurry alot. How long will it be when I no longer forget things. And the Head aches eventually go away.

Hi,

It may be due to brain edema after neurosurgical procedure. Generally, it will settle by itself in few weeks.

If persists, better to consult a neurosurgeon and get evaluated.
