I have pain in my knee. The pain is worse after setting awhile then getting up, straighting is painful, also at night I will be awakened with shooting pain in my calf and or pain in the back of the knee. During a recent MRI the pain was sever when I had to leave my leg still while it was stretched out straight. When the process was over and I was able to stand up the pain was over the knee cap and I had tingling and numbness going down to my foot. The pain is often at the outside of the knee. The x-Rays and MRI were both normal according to the knee specialist.
