What Causes Shivering In Body While Bending?

Hello, I hurt my arm 3 months ago and I stoped working out completely over that time because it hurt, now that my arm feels healed I feel I can start working out again, problem is that since I stoped working out I lost 15 pounds, and now I shake uncontrollably when slightly bending over. Sometimes I shake when I sit and turn from side to side or just sitting. what is this? I have never had this happen before and its been like this for a month or more??? By the way I am not diabetic, I am even like this after I eat so its not low blood suger. any help would be appreciated

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

A shiver is caused by your muscles tightening and relaxing in rapid succession. This involuntary muscle movement is your body's natural response to getting colder and trying to warm up. Responding to a cold environment, however, is only one reason why you shiver. Illness and other causes can also make you shake and shiver. As far as your history suggests you have lost a good amount of weight. Proper multivitamins and B-complex will solve the problem for sure.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammad Bilal Khan, General & Family Physician
