What Causes Sharp Right-sided Foot Pain After An Spinal Fusion Surgery?

I had a spinal fusion in August. Since then, I have severe sharp stabbing pains in my right foot. They come every 30 seconds to five minutes apart. Sessions of this can last up to a day. It may go 2 or 3 days without pains and then back to the same repititions. Pain level is at 0 but them the stabbing comes.. a 10. It can cause me to fall, the pain paralyses my foot with pain up to 3 or 4 seconds. Then is gone until the next comes along.

Hello,
If you had mentioned the reason for getting spinal fusion procedure, would have answered you in a better way. However ,if the fusion was done for any listhesis or disc prolapse, did you have any relief in symptoms after surgery? If yes and experiencing similar pain again ,may be a recurrence
Suggest you to get an MRI to know the current status
Hope this helps
