What Causes Sharp Pain While Bending Down?
I had hernia mesh repair surgery in Sept 2016 but have been have sharp pain when i bend down or twist. Last night I had a very bad pain, almost like a severe Charlie horse in that area of mesh placement. After a few minutes it went away but it felt like something was twisting inside or something weird. Today I have had tenderness and now having more noticeable pain. Especially with movement. Is that something concerning? Also stomach feels bloated.

The sharp pain when bending down suggest possible stretch of inguinal ligament, irritation of underlying nerve structure in particular posture. If the intensity of pain is substantial and not controlled by medications, I prefer to get an MRI of the operative part for final diagnosis and move ahead in the direction of definite cure.
