I'm a 35 yr-old female, I have a sharp pain in the right pelvic area, the pain comes every few minutes....lasts less than a minute then goes away...keeps repeating. This has been going on for a few hours now. No problems with bowel movements...but my urine was a bright yellow today. Not on period.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
* As per my surgical experience, the sharp pain in pelvis with bright yellow urine indicate possible urinary tract infection with or without calculus in the urinary system.
* I recommend to take a urine microscopy and ultrasound report for precise diagnosis and further management guidelines.
* Till that time, consume plenty of liquids.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Your symptoms seem to be related to an urinary tract infection. Some advice that I can give to you are :
-do an urinalysis to confirm the cause
-do an ultrasound -drink liquids
-If the infection is confirmed take prescribed antibiotics from your physician.
