What Causes Sharp Pain In The Lower Abdomen?

I am sharp pains in my lower stomach and cramps in my upper thighs. I have been seen in the local ER and they gave me pain Medes after running a CT scan that found nothing and my blood work found my white blood cells level a little high but not concerning. I am still having the same pains but I don t want to go back to the ER if the Dr there can not find anything. What should I do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
Thanks for putting your query over here.
I would like to know your gender for clues to cause of such problem.
Lower abdominal pain radiating to thighs may be because of pelvic inflammatory disease or lower uretric stones.
If I was your treating doctor,I recommend,
-Tab dicyclomine with antibiotics like cipro /cephalexin for 5-7 days with antacids.(prescription drug)
-Adequate rest.
-Avoiding sexual activity for some days.
-drinking plenty of water ,minimum 8-10 glasses of water.
Refereal to surgeon/urologist if symptoms persists
Hope this information helps.
Thanks and regards.
