What Causes Sharp Pain In The Chest?

I’ve been having sharp chest pains for the last 3-4 months, bad coughing when I exert myself, a metallic taste when I cough... I basically dealt with it by never over exerting. But 3 weeks ago I caught a cold and I haven’t been able to get rid of it. The chest pains and cough are getting worse and harder to control, even when I’m not really doing anything. I’ve been taking all kinds of cough medicine, nothing seems to help

first of all cough is more than 2 months,it's high time you have to get your sputum examination done. looks like a chronic infection symptom wise.Treatment initiate only after sputum.teat and chest x-ray immediately and also get an ECG for safer side
