OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Sharp shooting pain in the upper abdomen and below the chest can be due to gastric acid reflux, which is common in pregnancy or can be due to pre eclampsia.
Braxton hicks contractions are completely painless.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist as soon as possible so that you can be properly examined and treated accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Regards
Dr Deepti Verma
