What Causes Sharp Pain At The Site Of Cellulitis Infection?

I had an Bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy and omentectomy 7 months ago and had cellulitis after. For the last few months I keep getting a sharp pinching pain in the area where the cellulitis was and the skin is red not hot but red. I am not running a fever but do feel tired. I did have blood in my stools of and on for a while not sure if related or not. I also have a confirmed pocket of fluid 6 cm by 6 cm in the pelvic region that is being watched next CT in March. Should I be worried about this pain?.

Hello
Thanks for the query.
Pain at the site of surgery usually happens due to damage to cutaneous nerves, the same is the cause of redness.
Just relax and apply some coconut oil to the affected area.
It should improve with time.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
