What Causes Sharp Pain Around Belly Button And Down Lower Abdominal Area?

Hi doctor,
Early today I got this sharp pain around my belly button area and down my lower abdominal area. it felt similar to period pains but a bit worse. I have just finished my period of the month a few days ago. I was wondering what it could be. Also I now have pain in my left hip. I broke my coccyx 4 week s ago. I don't know if it is linked to the fall which caused me to break my coccyx. Please reply ASAP as I am concerned. Thank you

Thanks for posting your query to Healthcaremagic.

No it is not due to your coccyx injury. Pain at the region mentioned could be due to Spasm of the intestines , Kidney Stones , Infection inside Abdomen, Urine Infection.

You need to get certain tests and scan to know what is causing this pain . I advise you to get Ultrasound abdomen pelvis , Urine Routine test done and revert back to me .
