What Causes Sharp Nerve Pain On The Forearm?
I have sharp, burning nerve pains in the upper surface of my forearms. Pain,burning is very localized and is intermittent. It comes about once every two to three weeks. Always at night, beginning at about 10:30 and lasting about 2 hours. Nothing relieves the pain. I can t sleep and must wait till the pain subsides before I can sleep again. cortisone cream has no effect.

Here the reason for pain and numbness seems to be by nerve compression supplying to forearm
Spondylosis or bulging disc might be cause
So better to investigate with MRI scan for that
If no cause found than B12 and calcium estimation done
According to cause further work up and treatment plan decided
Take care
Consult orthopedic surgeon for examination and further work up
