What Causes Sharp Knee Pain After Having Achilles Tendon Surgery?

I just had Achilles tendon surgery and when I bend my leg it gets tingly and pins and needles. Why is this. Is this common and when couldn t expect that to stop. Also why does the foot I had surgery on hurt when not elevated but the foot I didn t have surgery does not hurt when not elevated. I understand it is because the blood pools there but doesn t it pool to the good leg too. Why does blood pooled to the operated leg hurt.

Hello

As you explain the situation this is a normal finding after a surgery and especially the knee because there are a lot of nerve endings in that area. Do not worry just try to contact the doctor if the pain does not improve with the passing days as it should be so.

Regards
