What Causes Sharp, Extreme Pain Around The Belly Button?
I get a sharp lightning bolt type of excruciating pain in my stomach just to the right of my belly button about 5-6 inches away and a little bit upwards from the belly button?? Is this a free service before you answer my question? Thank you very much. If it is something I have to pay for , then please do not give me an answer. Thanks.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sharp, extreme pain around the belly button . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like eating issues ,hernia , pregnancy , ulcers , pancreatic and crohn's Disease . Sometimes pain also occur due to UTI or kidney problem . I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order stool test , urine test along with CT scan and ultrasound . Doctor may prescribe laxative , ornidazole , omeprazole along with analgesic . Doctor may also refer you to nephrologist for kidney problem or urologist for UTI . For now take ibuprofen for pain and apply warm compresses to stomach .
