Hi Dear, Welcome to HCM. Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sharp abdominal pain along with blurred vision during pregnancy . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like consuming foods known to cause gas in some people, such as milk products that contain lactose, broccoli, appendicitis, crohn’s disease, gastroenteritis, irritable bowel syndrome or urinary tract infection. Sometimes excess acid production can also cause constipation. The symptoms you mention in query can occur sometimes in pregnancy . I would suggest you to avoid above mentioned foods , eat light and non spicy specially at night , take light walk after every meal , eat small and frequent meals , also eat lot of fibrous food .In case if there is still no improvement you can consult a gynecologist and get evaluated and he can advise you investigations like blood tests, colonoscopy, barium swallow etc to rule out the exact cause of the problem. Doctor may prescribe ornidazole , omeprazole , laxative , anti inflammatory along with antacids and laxative . Doctor may also refer you to gastroenterologist. Hope your concern has been resolved.
