What Causes Severe Wrist Pain Despite Taking Endone And Mobic For Rheumatoid Arthritis?

Hi , about 2 months ago I was working in the garden picking up dead leaves, when I noticed like a splinter in my left wrist which I pulled out and din t think about it anymore/ The next couple of days that wrist started to ache very much so I went to my GP and he dismissed it and told me that it was probably arthritis, the next couple of days my right wrist started to ache and then my hip, went back to doctor sent me to do tests and told me that he thought I had Rhunatoid Arthritis and he would sent me to a rhumatologist for his assessment but thats not till next week and in the meantime I m in great pain. Is there anything that can be done to relieve the pain? he did give me endone and Mobic to take but they make me very sleepy.

Hello,

Consult a rheumatologist and get evaluated.

As a first line management, you can take drugs like tramadol for pain relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
