What Causes Severe Stomach Cramps After Colonoscopy?
I had a colonoscopy a few weeks ago. Since then I have been getting a lot of cramps. Calves thighs ci gets forearms and now stomach intestinal cramps. I started taking calcium with d and mag. Eating bananas and dried apricots. Don t know what else to try before going to Dr.
Dear- you might have intestinal irritation from the colonoscopy .Other possibility is just the intestinal movements from irritable bowel syndrome, which doesn;t have anything to do with the colonoscopy but just an isolated situation. Banana will help to replace potassium which is helpful if it is low. I hope I was able to help you. Dr.Sara
