What Causes Severe Pain Under The Right Breast?

I have an excruciating pain under my right breast and somewhat to the right corresponding side. It comes and goes but hurts so bad I have to hunch over and sometimes the pain makes me vomit. My doctor said it was a spasm and to drink more water and take potassium. Had it for about 3 years and it gets progressively worse. What could be causing this? My husband thinks its back related?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
As per your history is concerned you can take COMBIFLAME if pain is severe.Secondly apply heat to the affected area .Gentle stretching of the pectoralis muscles 2-3 times a day may be beneficial.Pectoral muscles (colloquially referred to as "pecs") are the muscles that connect the front of the human chest with the bones of the upper arm and shoulder. Pectoralis major is a thick, fan-shaped muscle, which makes up the bulk of the chest muscle. It lies under the breast.
Should be follow in future-
1)Avoid repetitive misuse of muscles.

2)Modify improper posture or ergonomics of the home or work place.
Any doubt let me know (Thanks)
