What Causes Severe Pain Under The Breast Upon Coughing Post Bout Of Bronchitis?

I have been fighting breathing/lung problems for 4 months now. I am asthmatic and have a number of allergies. Since Feb., I ve had bronchitis, pneumonia and bronchitis again. I m still coughing (a hacking cough) occasionally and have severe pain under the left breast area when I cough, take a deep breathe or breathe heavy. My BP has jumped from 120/60 to 140/90 in this time frame. Xrays show no pneumonia now. Any thoughts on what could be wrong or what I should do? I have been under the care of my local clinic, but have not seen a pulmonologist.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
You are having Cronic cough since 4 months.while coughing there is a contraction of the chest muscle along with diaphragm occurs. This leads to chest pain.(pain under breast). You first have to treat cough. If you don't have cough now then just take muscle ralaxant along with some anti inflammatory medicine from physician. It will solve your problem.
Thank You.
