What Causes Severe Pain On Right Side Of The Lower Back?
I have been taking red yeast rice. I am having very server pain in my lower back on my right side. I ve been to the emergency room twice. should I go back to the ER. I didn t tell them this because I didn t think about it until last night after I took my meds.

Red yeast contains chemicals similar to statins so it can cause muscle pain in the same way as statin medications.
The doctors may do blood tests to see if this the source of the problem
It would be best to hold off these medications for now
