General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concern.
You have not mentioned the type of pain.
Your mother may be having pain due to nerve compression also known as sciatica. Nerve compression pain is mostly shooting type and radiating from hip to lower leg. You should consult orthopaedic doctor. RMP stands for registered medical practitioner which was a degree given in earlier time but not given now a days.
Hope this will be helpful.
Please ask if you have any further questions.
Take care.
