What Causes Severe Pain In The Stomach?
52 year old female. never have stomach issues until yesterday. sharp pains periodically (about 8 time yesterday and 4 times today). no fever, no heart burn. just sharp pain in stomach. I have been under unusual stress for the past 2 weeks. anything to worry about? I am hoping it will be better in time.

You should have told me what food you have eaten, yesterday. Anyway, there is a chance to feel stomach pain due to stress.
I suggest you relax and if possible, take some rest from the work. You may take some counselling to relax and to get prescribed anti-anxiety (anxiolytics) drugs for a few weeks.
