What Causes Severe Pain In The Shoulders, Hips And Knees?

Over the past couple of weeks I have been experiencing moderate to severe pain in both shoulders, both hips, one knee. The pain is generally a deep ache and a burning sensation but at times becomes severe with certain movements, and especially if I lay on either side at night. I have been diagnosed with cervical stenosis, and psoriatic arthritis (in hands), and have a long history of psoriasis ( had actually been in remission for months, but flared up again in December). The only out of the ordinary thing that has occurred in recent weeks has been a tick bite. Ibuprofen helps some when I am up and about but doesn t seem to help when laying down.

multiple joint pain is ually due to systemic disese.
commen cause are rheumatic and osteo arthritis.
psorriatic joint pain also involves small joint like finger or toe joints so it should be propely diagnosed before stamping it as psoriatic joint pain.
for acurate diagnosis, lab. investigation and x ray combinely may give final conclusion.
