Hello Dear

Thanks for writing to us, we are here to help.

Your cervical pain and stiffness is an indication of problem with your neck vertabrae in common term pain due to problems with bones inside the neck.
Pain can be of various types and hence has different reasons as well.
To see what is causing the pain is a primary concern, you need to evaluate the condition precisely by a MRI and digital X-ray which shall confirm weather the condition is due to disc, spondylitis, root compression or simple brachalgia.
Your family doctor has done a good thing by sending you to a Physiotherapist but the physio has to see what is causing the pain at the first place.
Random and experimental treatments can wornsen the condition.

For the time being you can use simple analgesic gels to relieve the pain.

Hope that helps

Thanks
