What Causes Severe Pain In The Neck, Shoulder And Elbow?
I have been having extreme pain from my neck and shoulder down to my elbow. I cannotfo raise my left arm without extreme pain. I have had an MRI and was diagnosed with arthritis in my shoulder. I had physical therapy but got no relief. I also have much pain and swelling in my left ankle. I have had spinal fusion in lumbar area between 2 and 3. Also left hip replacement and bilateral knee replacement. In the past few months it has been very difficult for me to walk more that 50 or so feet. I still have a lot of pain in my back and also my neck.
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use physical therapy, cold and warm compression and back support and cervical soft collar may useful.
If symptoms not improved please consult your orthopedician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
