What Causes Severe Pain In Shoulder And Arm Despite Taking Naproxen For Arthritis?

A couple of weeks ago fell and hit my right shoulder and arm. The same week I went to lift a 26 pound baby out of his crip and it felt like my arm came out of the socket and or something ripped. I went to the doctor in which a resident there idid a xray, said it was arthritis, gave me naproxen and sent me on my merry way. Since then I have been in excruciating pain and awakeALL night with the pain

thanx for your query...
As you had severe pain in your shoulder after a traumatic event.,you need to go further for higher ....,firstly you should have an MRI of your shoulder...then consult your orthopedician.,severe pain means you have some damaged on either bones or ligaments, tendons or muscles...that will be ruled out after an MRI..

For Severe pain you can take Cap. tramadol 50mg along with previous analgesic.
