What Causes Severe Pain In Right Back Shoulder?

Our son has terrible pain in his right back shoulder. He has been told that that don t see anything on the screen but 6 months ago the golf cart his son was driving tipped over and Greg our son put his right hand out and his hand at the wrist shoved into his arm and a plate was put in his hand after that. Now he has severe pain around his shoulder all the time. He has gone to Stanford and they can t figure out what is happening. Do you have any idea what he should do??

Hello,

* There can be undiagnosed rotator cuff injury which could be of minor impact at beginning and now symptomatic over a period of time due to tissue inflammation or else.

It is strongly recommended to get an MRI of the Rotator cuff for finer evaluation of the pain over right back shoulder as there is clear history of golf cart incidence in the narration. Awaiting for your further correspondence please.
