What Causes Severe Pain In Pelvic Area And Upper Right Leg After A Miscarriage?
My daughter had a miscarriage 6 weeks ago and is still having severe pain .Her doctor doesn t seem to think it is ovarion cist. Today she is in severe pain again and hurting in her upper right leg. Is all of these symptoms part of a miscarriage?

The symptoms related to a miscarriage should not be present 6 weeks after the miscarriage. Usually resolve within a few weeks for most persons.
It is possible that there is an ovarian cyst or there may be a direct complication of the miscarriage such as retention of some aspect of the pregnancy (called retention of products).
It would be best for her to have an ultrasound done to determine the cause of her pain.
