What Causes Severe Pain In Left Hip And Lower Back Pain?

I woke up in the middle of the night, last night with pretty severe pain in my left hip. Kept me up and I took some Advil (5 jell caps) and it seems to have helped. It was just surprising how fast it came on. Today the pain is still there but the Advil seem to still be helping. I am walking fine and can put weight on it. I do have back pain from time to time, fairly severe lower back pain. But this was a whole new experience and kind of frightening. Any ideas, Dave.

I really appreciate your concern, try to maintain good posture because such pain could be due to poor posture, if this still remains as it is then it may need imaging study some time this could be due to spinal disease, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
