What Causes Severe Pain Between The Incision And Bottom Of Fingers After Surgery?

Hello,I had trigger finger surgery on two of my fingers on my right hand in November. I had one finger done on the left hand in December. The locking is gone but the fingers are super painful. They are very stiff in the morning where I cannot bend them at all. (painful too) between the incision that the doctor made and the bottom of the finger, that part is very painful and swollen. I cannot take anti inflammatory meds because it gives me an irregular heart beat. I asked the dr. what is in that part between the incision and the finger. He replied nothing Please help!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

There is a nerve twig at the space you are talking. Nerve is being entrapped. Undergo MRI hand. And see another ortho doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Varinder Joshi , General & Family Physician
