General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think she will need to have a heart ultrasound, ECG, and a chest x-ray to examine the heart and the aorta for possible related diseases.
Lung problems may cause shoulder pain as well, this is why the x-ray will help to rule them out.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
