What Causes Severe Pain Between Buttocks?

I am having bad pain in the middle of my right buttock . It hurts to sit, it hurts to stand...what do I do? I haven t had any injuries to that area but almost 3 hrs ago I was in a bad motorcycle accident and broke several bones and one of them being my femur in two places so they did surgery and put a rod in.

Since you had an accident earlier and was operated for that, you need to have a recheck up done by your orthopaedician. Some calcium and nerve supplements along with mild analgesics may be required. After a proper check up,an x-ray pelvis(AP view) may be required. Do not go for massaging the site. Hot fomentation is helpful, for which you can use a hot water bag.
