What Causes Severe Pain Below The Navel While On Atarax?
I am 65 year old woman who was just prescribed genetric (hdro.....) atarax for alcohol withdrawal. I have severe pain in lower below belly button on left side. very painful constant pain in that area. had this pain prior to taking this medication but now pain is constant. I have hemmoriods and I am bleeding but it is the pain I am concerned about.

It is not related to Atarax. If symptoms are severe better to consult a general surgeon and get an ultrasound scan done.
As of now, you can take analgesics like Tramadol or Diclofenac for pain relief.
