What Causes Severe Pain Below The Diaphragm?

My 13 year old daughter just came in and told me she is having severe squeezing pain just below her diaphragm/bra line in upper stomach area. She feels nauseated, only feels a little better if she lies flat. No other symptoms. Should I take her to ER?

Hi, I think you should take her to a doctor. Also do a ultrasound of the abdomen. It can be due to gall bladder problem or may be gastritis also. She can take some pain killers and antacids. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope I have answered your question.
