A few hours ago my sister s dog grabbed my cat and when it wouldn t let go I ended up punching the dog several times in the top of the head to free the cat. My hand swole up a little under the pinky knuckle on my hand down about an inch to an inch and a half to a bit above the wrist. I can move the pinky without much discomfort down toward my palm and even curl it easily. Straightening it is a little more uncomfortable but I am able. At rest it is more sore than actually painful. Pinky knuckle is sore on the outside of the knuckle but not really on top. Pulling or forcibly moving my pinky finger around would hurt! If not for the swelling I would just assume nothing bad, shold I shell out money for my doctor and exrays? How long do I give it before seeing a doc if it s not feeling better? Thanks, Steve Leibfritz
